Day 2 of 4K Fun!!

Welcome to Day 2!

It is now day 2 of the 4K fun at Yarn Medley's from the Heart! Today, I want to ask you all to leave a comment with your favorite yarns to work with, and your favorite hook size!

  3. I have been trying new yarns, I'm loving Berocco Vintage, Knit Picks Swish Worsted, Plymouth Happy Feet, Hawthorne fingering. I've just ordered some Cascade paints and Drops Cotton Merino.

  4. Still a huge fan of I Love This Yarn's softness but can be won over with Red Heart's With Love...just wish they had more colors. And I like my J hook. :)

  6. Well, I love to work with Madelinetosh and Malabrigo, but financially that isn't always an option. So the practical me likes Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn. And I'm fairly new to crochet, but I tend to use a J hook.

  10. Lately I've been using a lot if Loops and Threads Impeccable. But I love so many!!! I like a g hook, but change as patterns warrant. I crochet a bit loose, so I usually downsize by one.

  11. I usually use Caron simply soft because I make a lot for children and because there is no due lot :) my go to is an H hook for it. Thank you for your generosity

  15. I love Red Heart Soft Baby Yarn because it is so soft. It also works up easily without splitting. My favorite hook size is H. I love my Susan Bates hooks but have just been hoping for a FURLS hook someday... Maybe a birthday?

  17. I like Bernat Satin. It's soft, lots of colour options and there are no dye lots. I usually enjoy working with the good old H hook

  24. I love all Red Heart yarns. Yes, even the 'awful' RHSS. I really don't have a favorite hook, it depends on what I'm making, although I seem to have an ample supply of G hooks in my collection!

I absolutely love working with Superwash Merino though my budget doesn't allow for much of that So second best would be I love this Yarn......and I have 2 favorite hooks E and H......especially love using my Clay covered ones from Growing Grace.....JourJeana Designs....and Day by Day Crochet!

  43. I don't really have a favorite yarn, but I am partial to the RH soft. As for a hook, I just got some new ones and I would say a J hook is mine. But I have a Addie Swing hook, 4.5, that I love to use because it is easier with my RA.

  44. I'm currently really adoring Lion Brand's new Landscape yarns. They make beautiful shawls. I love RH's unforgettable colors, but the size variance in the yarn irritates me. My favoritest of my favorites, though? Super bulky yarn of any type. The bulkier, the better. Favorite hook? Either my I, J, or S.
