that darn puff or popcorn stitch I can do it but do stay away from patterns with it in as much as possible thanks for the lovely poncho pattern
ReplyDeleteSo far I've stuck to the basic stitches since I've only been crocheting a couple months. But I'm hoping to increase my stitch knowledge!! Thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteSo far the most challenging stitch I've done is the FPTC. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm fairly new to crochet, and worked my first fpdc and bpdc yesterday, looks harder than it is, but love the finished effect x thanks for the patterns, you're so kind
ReplyDeleteI'm still struggling with a combination of the love knot and the puff stitch. I've seen youtube tutorials in Dutch, English, Portuguese, Russian you name it! I've tried everything, but I'm still not friends with this stitch
ReplyDeleteLike the ladies above, I too have only been crocheting for about 6 months. So, at the moment I hardest stitch would have to be the magic circle. Thanks for your lovely patterns!
ReplyDeleteHonestly? Foundation anything lol. I tried it awhile back and was having a hard time so I said screw it. A recent CAL by KT and the Squid made me try it again and I swore I was going to get it right. Well, I finally did!
ReplyDeleteI've been crocheting for about 50 years and I've recently discovered the Foundation Stitch. I have to refer to it every time so I think it's the hardest for me. I WILL learn it!!! Thanks for the pattern!!
ReplyDeleteNot sure of the technical name, but I had trouble mastering the wrap or maybe bullion st ??? Trying to keep the 8 or 9 yos even tension and in place was hard
ReplyDeleteMagic circle
ReplyDeleteI've been crocheting for 40+ years so I've done a lot of stitches. I guess the hardest for me is a FPDC Cluster because it really tires my hands Next is the Loop Stitch I used to make a lamb for my granddaughter. Again, just hard in my old hands.
ReplyDeleteThe hardest stitch for me so far has been the popcorn stitch, just can't get it to look like it's supposed to.
ReplyDeleteThe crocodile stitch was a challenge but I beat it down and made a lovely flower.

ReplyDeleteHardest one I've learned is the crocodile stitch. One I've tried repeatedly and just can't get, is the chainless foundation. Having a lefty tut would help a lot but as of yet, I don't know of any.
ReplyDeleteI agree...the crocodile stitch...but they have all been hard....I am a lefty but I crochet righty..and I have MS so it takes a while to get the hang of most stitches...but I love it!!! Thank you for the beautiful patterns =)
ReplyDeleteI can do the crab stitch and it looks great now, but it took me awhile to get it even.

ReplyDeleteloop stitch. I made a cupcake pillow that had about 20 rows of it and after doing 4 rows I realized i had it wrong and it was too loose so I had to FROG IT :(
ReplyDeleteThe hardest stitch I've tried is the broomstitch (think that's what it's called) I can't seem to hold anything right. Lol
ReplyDeleteThe crocodile stitch is a killer
ReplyDeleteThe hardest for me is foundation stitches...any of them. But I'm slowly getting better. :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteFundation sc, DC :( that's Hard to me

ReplyDeleteI have about 40 years of experience and getting trc or longer stitches even is still a challenge for me lol. It took some practice but I finally conquered the foundation stitches and it opens up so much possibility for design options!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a while to get neat crab stitch. I find it so fiddly
ReplyDeleteBasketweave Stitch took me a while to catch on.
ReplyDeleteI think the hardest stitch I have mastered is the bobble stitch.
ReplyDeleteBullions were a big challenge for me.
ReplyDeleteBobbles are a challenge for me :(
ReplyDeleteYears ago, and it was around 1977 I made a jacket from a McCall's booklet. I can not be certain of the name of the stitch. But it took me around 2 weeks to learn. The jacket took much longer. I realized afterwards it was advanced and I was a beginner.
ReplyDeleteThe Crocodile Stitch has been a doozy for me! Thank you for sharing your patterns!
