Christmas presents

I have started Christmas presents.

Hopefully my hooker fingers can get done on time! Each of my kids wants something crocheted.

Batman something
American girl doll clothes
doctor set
a "be doh" as my 4 year old says (fireman minion)
baby doll

That is my list for them...

Two are started so that is good!
The start of the be doh done by Christmas tree lighting!

I have nieces and nephews to make for as well, so I need your help!

It has been awhile...

I know it has been a few months my last (and first) post, but I am determined to post more often!

Over the last few months, I have been crocheting, spinning, dying fibers, and raising kiddos!

Most recently was Thanksgiving. These are all the kids that were at my house to eat some yummy grub. Five of those are mine!!

I think my blog will be a variety of things, but mostly crochet and family related. I am setting my goals to design more patterns, as well as working with some amazing designers to release free patterns!

Upcoming posts will also include reviews of other designers' patterns, as well as some patterns that can be made with my handspun yarns! You will also have the opportunity to purchase the handspun yarns that are featured.

This is one of my yarns that are available for purchase: 109 Yards of Handspun Alpaca Blend

109+ yards handspun merino/alpaca with gold metallic/sequin thread

Well, I suppose that will be all tonight! A preview of what is to come! Take care of your littles!

This is my first time to do a blog, so here it goes!

I figured I should start with who I am! I am Nondas, the owner and crafter of Yarn Medley's from the Heart. I have been crocheting since I was 8, and knitting since about 9. I learned Crochet from my mother and grandmother, but I thought myself knitting. I am also a new Crochet designer. It is a new adventure, and so worth the time!

One other craft I have newly discovered is spinning. Thanks to my dear friend Shannon, I took the plunge and got a drop spindle and fiber. I fell in love! Although my first spins were not that great, I still got encouragement from Shannon, and several other ladies in a Facebook group for spinners and fiber crafters. I got a spinning wheel soon there after, and have enjoyed every single minute of it since.

I plan to venture into dying fiber someday, but for now, I will stick to crocheting, knitting, designing, and spinning.

When I am not doing these, I am playing with my five babies. My husband and I have a 9 year old son, an 8 year old daughter, a 5 year old daughter, 4 year old son, and a 1 year old daughter. They do keep me busy! Cheer, football, baseball, football... Playdates, birthday parties.... Go go go! I would not have it any other way!

I am so glad you stopped by to meet me and look forward to reading your comments! I would love to know your ideas for new designs for Crochet!
