Braided Hope Wristers Release!

I am so excited to be releasing the 3rd addition to the Braided Hope line! The Braided Hope Wristers are perfect to keep your hands and wrister warm, while still being able to take those photos, drive, or anything else with your fingers!

The stitching in these patterns resemble 3 strand braids, and are repeated around the project. The first part of the collection was the hat, which was designed for the Cancer Challenge, and the name came while I was designing it.
Cancer is a horrible disease that many people fight! Each strand represents the fighter, the supporters, and the hope that a cure will be found. As you make one or all of these patterns, I hope you think of each of these weaving and crossing paths to form a stronger fabric of hope!

For the release, I am offering 50% off, or all 3 patterns in the Braided Hope Collection for $10!

You can go HERE to directly purchase the newest addition for 50% off, or,

You can go HERE to directly purchase the whole set for $10!

Thank you so much for joining me in the release and continuation of the Braided Hope Collection! Be sure to follow me on Facebook to ensure you do not miss the future releases!

4K Fun!!

We have made it to 4,000!!

Without all 4,000 of my fantastic fans, I would be nowhere! So, first and foremost, thank you to each and every one of you! I started a crochet page on a whim one day, about 3 years go. I had no idea what to expect when it started. It started off slow at first, mainly family and close friends. As I branched out and found more crocheters, I found that it was a huge entity, and I was trying to make my small footstep known!

Fast-forward 3 years later and I have grown in so many ways. I have found some amazing friends through the love of hooks, yarn, and needles, and I have learned so many new things about crochet. I have also started knitting again, which I had stopped doing for about 2 years. While on this journey, I learned there are so many fibers, textures, yarn weights, and ways to turn a hook around some yarn to make some very beautiful items.

Another adventure I discovered, handspun yarn! It is such a treat to work with, and my first purchase of handspun yarn was from my mentor, Shannon, of The Hookeraholic Crochet. She has taught me an appreciation of the art of spinning, and now, I have learned to spin fiber into yarn as well!

So in the past 3 years from the time Yarn Medley's from the Heart started, I have crocheted, knitted, spun, dyed fibers, created, written patterns, and tested patterns for some amazing designers.

In the next few years, I plan to design more, write more, spin more, and most definitely crochet and knit more! Please leave a comment to let me know what something you would love to see more of as far as crochet designs go. I would love to bring your ideas to life!

As a personal thank you, starting tomorrow, September 14th, I am giving away a pattern for 24 hours each day, for the next 5 days! That is right, 5 free patterns coming this week!

I will also have 5 guest designers offering a free pattern to you as well! So be sure to like and follow Yarn Medley's from the Heart, and the guest designers' pages so you don't miss out! There may just be something amazing at the end of the week for you!

Also, there will be new releases at discounted prices, so be sure you get notifications!!

Thank you all so very much again!!

Never Forget

Today is a day in history that our children will only know about from history books, and from stories we tell them. It is a somber day as we remember the 2,977 lives that were taken too soon.

As we remember these lives today, please also remember our men and women in the Armed Forces who protect each and every day. If you wish, leave a comment of loved ones' names lost on this day 14 years ago or since then fighting for our freedom.

In honor of Patriot Day, you can use code NEVERFORGET to receive all of my paid patterns for just $9.11. Previous purchases count towards this, however, I am unsure of how that actually works.

Visit Ravelry here to be directly taken to check out with all available patterns in the cart with the code.

Thank you for your support, and please say a prayer for all the lives lost!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy birthday to me!!

That is right, today is my birthday! I have so much to be thankful for in my 31 years that I would be making the world's longest blog! So to summarize, I am thankful for all the opportunities I have been given, and taken; for my family for raising me with the morals and values I hold so dear to my heart; for my wonderful and amazing husband, and even more amazing kids; and for the opportunity to share something I love with every one of you!

I started designing crochet patterns a little over a year and a half ago, and it has been such a thrill! I have learned so many things writing patterns, such as making sure your counts are right and the words make sense, and I absolutely love it!

While I do not have many patterns out at the moment, I have the drive and love for all of you to create more! One of my favorite ones I have designed is the Twisted Ridges Earwarmer. I created the toddler size to be free on the Cre8tion Crochet blog, but I have it sized to large adult!

In celebration of my 31st birthday, I am giving you a copy of all sizes, minus the free one on the Cre8tion Crochet blog (which you can find here) for FREE!!

That is right, for FREE!!

Just follow this link and it will be ready for you to check out and get to making Twisted Ridges Earwarmers in time for the fall!!

Be sure to check back on the blog for new releases, or even some more freebies!

I hope you enjoy this pattern! Be sure to check my Ravelry for the 40% off sale through the 18th of all other patterns (no code necessary), except the Moebius Princess Cowl, which is 50% off with code MOEBIUS through the 11th!

Trying something new...

I am obviously not the most efficient person to keep up with a blog, but I am trying something new to remind myself to do more blog posts!

I would love some feedback from my fans to let me know how you found me! Suggestions would be so greatly appreciated to make my blog better for you!

I am a Cre8tion Crochet design contributor, as well as a crocheter, knitter, spinner, fiber dyer, and independent designer. These are my passions! I try my very best to share this with as many people as I can reach.

I have been married for 8.5 years now, and we have 5 wonderful kiddos! They are 10, 9, 7, 4, and 1 years old, boy, girl, girl, boy, girl, respectively. We also have 2 furbabies, a 5 and a half year old English Bulldog, and a 7 month old Black Mouth Cur/German Shepard mix. He is the crazy one of the family, very rambunctious!

I started designing about a year and a half ago, and love every minute of it. I do not have many patterns, but that will soon change.

I hope to get your suggestions to help keep me on my toes for my blog!
